Petition: Give equal voting rights to all New Zealanders

 

 

Right now, some votes count more than others—whether through rural or Māori wards or unelected appointees with voting rights. 

 

Local government elections are only a few months away. Unless we act now, the status quo will continue, with councils stacked in favour of special interests instead of ratepayers.
