Natural and Built Environment Bill and Planning Bill

Government rules that strip property value without compensation are unfair. We’ve submitted that all such regulatory takings should be fully compensated under Public Works Act principles, protecting property owners and keeping New Zealand’s economy dynamic.

Hidden resource taxes, like auctions and levies, act as secret costs on productive businesses. We’ve called for these levies to cover only administrative costs and banned revenue ring-fencing, keeping food, infrastructure, and exports affordable.

Vague Treaty-based rules have created de facto iwi veto powers over private property. Our submission seeks legislation to prevent racial privilege from overriding property rights, restoring certainty, reinforcing the rule of law, and giving investors the stability they need to grow.
