Championing Value For Money From Every Tax Dollar

Labour Can’t Spend The Same Health Money Twice

The Taxpayers’ Union is demanding Labour explain how its promise to guarantee jobs for every graduate nurse will be funded without money already promised elsewhere.

Taxpayers’ Union Investigative Lead, Rhys Hurley, said:

“Labour needs to remember the first rule of an election: you can’t spend the same money twice.”

“If this promise is being funded from money Labour has already allocated to health, taxpayers deserve to know which of its other promises are getting cut to pay for it.”
