This part-time role is based in our Wellington office.
Enjoy a varied admin role doing everything and anything to keep the office running. Supporting the team of a dedicated political lobby group, you will generally fill the gaps of whatever needs doing. Though a focus will be membership queries and providing standardised responses.
Day-to-day you may find yourself entering data, or fulfilling and dispatching merchandise, or delivering things to Parliament or just doing anything needed to support the team to ensure the important gets done, not just the urgent. Enjoy working for a realistic employer that’s family friendly.
You’re organised and computer literate, with a firm grasp of Word and Excel. Communicative, you’ll pass on any outstanding matters, so nothing gets dropped. You don’t mind doing whatever is needed, you’re just keen to get stuck in and support others to make a difference.
The Taxpayers’ Union is New Zealand’s largest political advocacy group, using the power of our 200,000 subscribed members and supporters to fight for Lower Taxes, Less Waste, More Transparency. We raise awareness and hold politicians to account using hard-hitting original research combined with people power. We have a nice working environment on Lambton Quay and are a 7-minute walk from Wellington Railway Station.
This is a part-time role for between 20 and 25 hours per week. You’ll work Mon – Fri, 4-5 hours a day, with a morning start that can work around school hours.
So, if you’d love to be part of an enthusiastic team making a difference, apply now!
