ACT’s ‘no new taxes’ pledge puts pressure on National to make the same promise

The Taxpayers’ Union welcomes ACT’s unequivocal commitment to no new taxes and is calling on National to do the same.

Taxpayers’ Union spokeswoman, Ella Dickson, said:

“National’s ‘no new taxes on working people’ fudge is already falling flat, with the Prime Minister unable to tell Kiwis what their tax bill will look like next year.”

“ACT has given taxpayers a no-nonsense commitment to no new taxes. Now the pressure is on Luxon to ditch his Sir Keir Starmer routine and do the same.”
