Championing Value For Money From Every Tax Dollar

Stop Costly Co-Governance of Community Water Assets

The Government promised no co-governance of public services. But new regional water plans approved by Minister Simon Watts' officials are allowing co-governed structures almost identical to Nanaia Mahuta’s original Three Waters model.

That means water entities accountable to co-governed committees instead of democratically elected councillors.

The Taxpayers’ Union must launch a campaign to force the Government to honour its promise and stop this before it becomes permanent.

Will you help fund the fight?

Every dollar donated on this page will be used to fight co-governance in the Government's new 'Local Water Done Well' policy.

Donations can be made by credit card on this page or direct credited to our bank account (click here for our bank account details).

Thank you again for making your voice heard.
